Transfer Student Orientation Information
The first year of college is a very exciting time for students. Make sure you begin with a great start by keeping track of the Wayne State University deadlines, fees, placement testing, and your New Student Orientation sessions.
While we recommend all transfer students attend New Student Orientation, it is only required if you are transferring 30 or fewer credit hours. Wayne State’s orientation sessions are designed to help you excel academically, adjust to collegiate life, meet new friends, classmates and representatives from key service units along the way.
We look forward to meeting you and helping to make sure your transition as a Wayne State Warrior is as smooth as possible.
New Student Orientation Fees
There is a non-refundable fee for orientation that will automatically be added to your tuition bill. The fee includes all activities for the day, breakfast and lunch, parking, and orientation materials.
